BH quoted this morning that for Barnett 'There’s not much for them to play for' - I think he's wrong if they beat Maidstone (Tues) and us on Saturday they are very much in the scramble for the final play off places? hope he was only kidding?

He's coming across like an idiot, they went a long way in the FA Cup hence the games in hand and their form is really good.

Braintree had nothing to play for Saturday but as poor as they was we weren't much better first half. No such thing as nothing to play for some are playing for new contracts and pride.

I still have some hope that things will improve under him once he can get his own squad together, he needs this summer and possibly January to build his team. Its clear he doesn't rate this lot. Plus he's been unlucky with injuries to crucial players like Summerfield and Walker.
This is assuming he doesn't take us up this season though, there is still a chance we might get our act together in time for the PO's.

I agree, he deserves the chance to build his own team in the summer.

As I posted on a different thread, we have 4 very hard games to come. We may get very few points the rest of the season. Play-offs ae still very much open to question. I can see us missing out very easily.

I agree without wishing to be negative and going on away form and form in general on top of the tinkerman.

Barnet I predict a defeat.
Sutton I predict at best a draw
Halifax a resounding defeat
Harrogate a draw or defeat.

I'm shit at predictions so I hope I'm well out with these, but with rumours of unrest in the dressing room and seeing players having a go at eachother on Saturday I ain't to confident.

No need for him to make the comment as it may fire them up but there is almost no realistic chance of Barnet making the playoffs so he's realistically if.not mathematically correct.

Barnet can get a maximum of 71 points. Harrogate in 6th currently have 71, Eastleigh in 7th are on 67, so it is extremely doubtful even if they win all 5 games they will be in the play offs
