We have not many key players to retain!

He doesn't need to rip it up and start again either. If we make the play offs then we will have seen further progress even though it may not feel like at the minute or if we don't achieve promotion.

For all their critics DK built some stability with 2 year deals in our squad and SR was wise enough to try and build on that platform/spine. We all agree where both struggled was to turn our strong defensive unit into a more progressive/attack minded team and increase our scoring ratio, but next season should be all about finding that extra bit of quality and further progression.

He doesn’t have to rip the defence up but he does the midfield and forward line.

I think he just needs to add a couple, (certainly a replacement for Walker) to the midfield 3 of Young, Summerfield & Wright.

Up top Oswell Is contracted, a decision is needed on Fondop, maybe 2 out of Beavon/Grant/Holroyd are worth another year, let's see how they perform over these forthcoming big games as I guess they will get plenty of minutes. Then hopefully Tollitt and 2 new strikers.

I was with you up to Beavon Grant Holroyd, all 3 need to go if we are to be successful in whatever league we are in next year, Beavon on age alone despite him having done well

I suppose it will depend on the size of the starting squad, and who BH can get in. He currently has 5 recognised centre backs so something needs to give there.

Just get us a playmaking midfielder or two please. We've had the likes of Boden who was ruined and wasted here due to lack of chances created. Even Moult wouldn't be scoring with the set up since Keates.
So please, sort out a decent midfield.

I really hope you’re joking. Apart from his goal, Wright was a passenger on Saturday. He’s a decent squad player, but not there yet.
