I think a huge blow, he’s been fantastic all year. Hope our defence doesn’t go to pot now. Hope we can sign him next season

Thought he was on contract next season - might be wrong though

He has been a big loss that I don't think we have filled (not a dig at the recruitment, there aren't many players of his ability available to come and play in the NL). He could pass between the lines and had a calmness, he also had a higher football IQ than most of the players and stopped several counter attacks when we were in danger. Wouldn't surprise me if he ends up playing in L1 regularly, the potential is certainly there.
