Re: Reserve Team....Do we need one?
We were discussing this yesterday over a pint in the Maesgwyn. The days when Wrexham had a reserve team which played in the Wrexham and District leagues ( cannot remember the name it went by in those days Welsh National League as was ). Good for first teamers getting back to fitness after injury and blooding the youth in Mens Leagues

Re: Reserve Team....Do we need one?
We don't need a reserve team, but we do need something for fringe/players coming back from injury. We also need something to bridge the gap from the youth team.
This could be covered by regular friendlies with other teams, or a reserve team. At the moment we have neither. |

Ages will probably be an issue, and we shouldn't have to. |

These friendlies could take place on training pitches the way they used to, no need to use the Racecourse. |
Re: Reserve Team....Do we need one?

They used to play in the Cheshire league at one point |
My issue would be whether we have enough players to regularly field a team
Could use some of the youth team I suppose , didn't we used to have some form of reserve side in the Welsh national League many moons ago? |
