I think if you express undying loyalty to WFC, are a fierce critic of its running, but do nothing about it, then you are a tw*t. Why? because either you don't have undying loyalty to the club or you don't think the Club is being run in a way that it needs saving from, make your mind up.

I think the Club is being run better than it has been for years, perhaps ever. I don't have undying loyalty to it, I love it a bit, but I'm unfaithful. I thus avoid the tw*t categorisation, I'm more in the sh*t category.

I noted John Mills comments in Saturday's programme about 'excitable posters on social media platforms who preach from positions of no risk or responsibility'. There should be nothing wrong with being 'excitable' about the club provided comments don't get personal or abuse towards the directors of course.

I am normally a happy clapper but if I am of the opinion that if we don't consider taking a risk on getting some decent players in we will have to accept non-league football for the foreseeable future.
So Mr Mills is taking the "us and them" approach. Looks like a thin veiled dig at fans who are less important and less intelligent than him and his board colleagues.

not a very good comment to make but not a surprise coming from that man

LOL. Do you have a list of fans who have expressed their undying loyalty to the club then? Or does the club keep hold of that? Who has ever said that? More gold right here, dear me.

So going by this warped logic... If you ever criticise a local MP, Councillor, Prime Minister etc you should 'do something about it'?
Which you've done have you? because everyone has criticised one of the above.

Bonkers, stark raving bonkers.

He's always lurking on here reading threads is Mr Mills.

Nothing surprises me anymore, just shows how out of touch they are and the sheer arrogance and snobbery they have.

So a board member is suggesting that people with no position or responsibility at the club shouldn't criticise or have an opinion even. Way to build bridges John.

Fans views are split. The Clappers point to our balance sheet, whilst the frothers think that our major assets should be on the pitch. A lively night.
I'm going to try to be there Willywill, you are welcome to sit next to me if it helps you express yourself. No problem. Redrobinman can sit the other side of me if he wants, because he'll definitely be there, right?

It should follow a set agenda, and will have an item for ‘Any other questions’, which will allow a limited number of points to be raised, though usually in connection with the accounts. As others have pointed out, difficult questions will be handled with stock answers and a united stand from the Board members present. As you might expect since you’re not going to get renegade Directors showing their hand.

If you want to achieve real changes to the Board, the election and co opting of members, or such like, a group of shareholders will need to call for a Members Extraordinary General Meeting.

Usually, a minimum number of members in %age terms would need to come together in an organised fashion with a clear objective that they would bring to the Board, seeking a way to achieve the changes they desire. The Board would be bound by law to hold the meeting and deal with the proposals accordingly.

Hope that helps, but do remember that my debating skills are not of the calibre of the likes of Pagl, Phil an Alki, or the esteemed Giggggggettttyyyyyytgy flip knows.
Definitely makes things clearer - thanks!

Obviously his arrogance shows no bounds. To put this in the programme does show how far out of touch they are. Lets face it no-one even knows what he does anyway.
