WST board minutes

Our inability to score enough goals would suggest we will not be successful in the play offs and I fully share fellow fans disappointment and frustration.

However we were never going to beat Arsenal or Porto or become old third division champions were we?

As long as there is a chance the team deserve 100% of our support - and the vast majority of us will give it willingly.

Blame the fans who didn’t bother to turn up is more appropriate. The majority of fans just want to watch their team and be entertained, the politics of it and saying 'your only a fan if you come and muck in' smacks of how out of touch you and the board are. I already have a job I don't want another one (where I don't even get paid) thanks.

I agree. How many times do I read on RP that unless you attend the matches you should not criticise the team. However, those that criticise the Board on RP do not attend the AGM. You just can't win with some.

This thread just about sums up why we should be so grateful to those fans that work so hard for the club.

My only criticism of the trust and board is that they should have a Co-Opted PR/Communications person, an opinion I have held for many years. If there is one now I apologise and for the avoidance of doubt this is different role from the media team.

Everyone appreciates those that give up their time. However they are not above criticism. Having the WST govern a club board that is also the WST board defeats the object.

The club is doing OK financially with small losses being propped up by the WST but to progress the WST, the club and the finances need to be improved.

How many fans have a major interest in this is shown by the numbers that vote and turn up to meetings.

Think it shows how out of touch you are. It’s a good job that ALL the volunteers at the club don’t have your attitude, because if they did then you would be sat at home on Saturday afternoon, because we wouldn’t have a club!!By the way I totally agree with some of the criticism the club board have had, particularly regarding first team matters. I also think certain people on here are using the current climate to push their Anti-Wst agendas.
