Re: Shoplifter nicked a load of home shirts
The big supermarkets got wise to the organised shop lifting gangs and put security tags on high value goods such as alcohol.
These gangs then started on other goods in the next bracket of value hence the meat, coffee and cheese thefts. Shoplifting is used to fuel payments for illegal substances and that’s a growth area especially in Wrexham. |

Re: Shoplifter nicked a load of home shirts
I also know of a major chain in Wrexham which doesn't tag all its goods or have a permanent security guard. Needless to say their losses alone are in the thousands.
