Youth team on good form
 

The youth team drew 1-1 away at Morecambe today. Bringing they're current run to nine games unbeaten, with six wins and three draws. Hope this form rubs off on the first team!!

Remember in prior seasons we had a rolling youth team thread for the youths during the season.Would be good yo see it return.

Also today Patrick Jones and Cian Williams have been named in a Wales U16 squad for a UEFA tournament this month.

If fans realised we had these teams and had updates on their results then I am sure it would raise the profile.
We used to sponsor 2 teams from RP at 1 point.

Agree totally Pagl.The recent good results deserve more publicity and the club twitter account gives next to nothing information on them.Understand need to highlight the community initiatives etc but should give some publicity on young lads who have chosen to play for Wrexham. Need to be tweeting international call ups too as looks at moment that club has no interest whatsoever in them..Surely highlighting and promoting youth should be in the constitution of the Trust ?

You would think but the club board think its okay to sideline it.Think its one the consequences of losing Bircham and Barry Horne as remember latter stating after Wilkin left that he was concerned youth as not getting an opportunity. Horne was a football msn unlike what we have on board now.

I've heard if we don't go back up to the football league this year because we have been out of the leagues for so long the youth teams won't play professional clubs youth teams any more and they will play probably league of wales sides, really hope this isn't true.
