We still don't know where Matty Done is yet , but who knows , maybe they will appear this Thursday in some form or other .

Think BH has quickly realized that it might be better to put trust in the old experienced heads - and keep a settled side - hence the return of Grant, Holroyd and Wright with the omission of Spyrou, Augustien and Stockton - perhaps they are just not fit enough and / or injured which I think is true in the case of Stockton at least.

I don't think Augestein was anywhere near match fit or sharp enough.

It's a question of who wants it at this stage of the season and those 2 showed in the aberration of a 1st half at Ebbsfleet that they don't so right they arent featuring. We have got where we are through sheer hard work of a team who are probably less naturally talented than a lot of teams below then so let's keep going with that and see where it takes us.

BH has indicated that the team is based on hard work. He cant make them more expansive or he loses the graft. Its going to be a grind to promotion which suits us.
We need a bit of luck from somewhere and lots of nerve.

Thankfully we appear to have learned from last years errors. We are now keeping the same base for the team as far as possible but are actually creating the odd chance to win games by being that bit more positive.
Changing the way the team plays has possibly cost us points in a couple of games. Barrow being the prime example, the 442 was a step too far for the players we've got. Half time changes against Ebbsfleet has shown that at least some players have some fight left in them.
