You don't really think the away side would accept no income from a one off match. League games are different as each team has a home fixture.

That must be a huge financial incentive for Solihull to not play at home

I guess the answer to that is finish higher. I don’t know but I just assumed that the ‘reward’ for finishing higher was also having the receipts minus expenses for the away side of course.

I was of the opinion that the play offs were a different ball game when it came to turnstile revenue. That does seem to be the case - what next? Cheer leaders and BBQs with rival fans in the car park?

Its called fairness - like in a cup game.
Gate receipts minus expenses will be split between the 2 clubs and the NL.
Cant remember the exact %ages from last time as it was so long ago but its
Probably 45, 45, 10.
Need a full house at home really and maybe televised to make £40k plus.

Don't know - they did for Salford away but it wasn't advertised.
Details of away coach travel available on official site - last time I looked there was no mention of pick up points - being a bank holiday it could have enhanced numbers travelling.

We don't seem to sell our cause do we ?

What exactly do you expect, we're supposed to support them not the other way around. Some people would moan the toast was cold if thry came round and woke you up with breakfast in bed first.
