This

For me, if Walker can play the last 2 games of the regular season to get near match fit and he and Summerfield along with Wright ( sorry Luke) make up the midfield for the play offs I see this as our best chance of going up.

At least Grant has a shot at goal now and again , if he finds his , rather some sort of accuracy who knows .

They are, and they play in the most important position on the pitch as well. If we get them both back we cant underestimate how vital this could be for us.

I still have nightmares about Young and Wright playing against Barrow in a 2.

Fully fit Walker would be good but not unfit one.

Havent been impressed with Grant at all and Mcglashan is ideal sub with his pace for last 15 mins.
I get what your saying, on recent form its a tough choice
Over the course of the season hes been poor but whilst hes in form you could argue we need to keep playing him until his form dips again
But even at his best hes not as good as walker or summerfield and with the problems weve had all season scoring wise i think wright needs to play , as poor as he is in some games he is the only midfielder who is scoring which has proved vital in the last couple of games

The only way in which I feel Wright gets away with it is in a 3. He needs 2 good footballers in there doing his thinking for him.

If Young, Walker and Summerfield are fit no way should Wright play. Those three can all score goals and Young could play in his preferred position more advanced. They are all simply better footballers and none of them need carrying.
Case closed.

Walker is back at Shrewsbury having treatment, can't see him back here as Ricketts will want him fit and probably not let him return

Did you even read the opening post on this thread?
Ricketts won't even come into it.
