Case closed.
I agree Young,Walker and Summerfield are better on the ball than Akil but Wright offers more in terms of goals.
And we're not exactly blessed with goalscorers.

No but with a better midfield surely the forwards will get more joy, plus Akil isn't exactly a goal machine. He doesn't score enough yet to cover for the large periods of games where he goes missing.

Just to play devils advocate who makes the final decision on whether he's fit or not? As hes currently back at shrewsbury im guessing its for them to decide. But if they say he wont be fit for the rest of the season can we send our physio there to conduct a second opinion because as previously stated he is our player till the end of the season

I would imagine it's Shrewsbury as he is their player.

He has a fair point though. No one else in midfield or up front has scored as many recently !!

As he's at Shrewsbury at the moment surely the update has come from them with a view to him being fit!

The thing is even if he has recovered from his hamstring strain he ain't matchfit and only 3 games + 1 play off game to go or possibly 2 or 3 and that's it to late to be taking chances on players fitness but I doubt He will be back.

He isn't, but has scored 5 in his last 19 games, so he's on a half decent run.

I don't think we'll see Walker again so it's likely it'll be Young, Summerfield & Wright, from here on.
