Only issue with this is match fitness. I read an article recently re Tomer Hemed QPR striker who was out for a few months during a terrible spell for them. He said he was rushed back in as an apparent saviour but it took him about a month to get back to the player he was before injury.

I have no problem in agreeing Walker and Summerfield fully fit approve our current midfield but putting 1 or both in half dot might actually weaken it. Just a thought anyway!

Playing with akil Wright is like playing with ten men.

Simple as that.

He's our joint second highest goal scorer Percy. Stick to confectionary pigs mate.

Ricketts won't even come into it.
It's up to Shrewsbury whether he's fit enough or not. Hence, we most probably won't see him again

But what's the alternative ? that's the dilemma for BH.
At least Wright has started to score goals - unlock the door and the confidence and further goals may flow a bit more.
The obvious replacement would have been Augustien, on paper, an experienced midfielder who would improve us in the middle - we were all rejoicing when he signed but BH must have seen enough in the first half at Ebbsfleet to see that he isn't up to standard, be that fitness or some other factor.
It would be a big gamble at this stage to make further unnecessary changes to the midfield especially with players being out for long periods - Summerfield looks to be back now in contention for a place - I feel, given the number of games left it might just be a step too far to risk Walker even if declared fit to play. One returning player especially in the engine room would be difficult - two could backfire massively.

He is. His lack of ability also means that every other player needs to work twice as hard to make up for his lack of basic skills.

Bobby Grant was the clear replacement but hasn’t been given the opportunity to play there. Bobby has been poor in some of the games playing outwide, but clearly has more ability than Wright. Wright plus poorly week after week and it just gets ignored because he’s “a presence” and runs around a bit.

Grant doesn't seem to have the legs to play midfield and looked completely out of it when played in midfield. He looks far better suited in his usual role wide of a front 3, coming in on his left peg. Hopefully if he gets a decent run now he will start to show what he is capable of.

Wright hasn't got a great touch, but his contribution is underrated, he does bring some much needed physicality and bite that we have missed in previous seasons. His goals have been a bonus but his best work for us is when he is making strong runs into the box, putting the opposition players under pressure and winning tackles high up the pitch. His game and licence to push right up has suffered with the loss of Walker as the anchor.
