Not in the squad again today. What was the point in taking this young lad across the country, sticking him in a hotel and not even having him on the bench?

if he aint doing the business or looking good enough or is in bad form in training.. why shouyld we pick him ?


if flynnor whoever scouted him has seem him at a time he was playing well.. but has since has dipped in performance levels.. then thats how it is.

or are you suggesting we should play players who aint playing well at the moment?

Are playing Rutherford who is not having assists and not scoring either.

This, why disrupt the team who are coming into form just for the sake of playing a new signing. At the point we loaned him it was a decent move but we have now gone back to basics and should trust the lads who got us into contention in first place.

We see this a lot with players coming on loan - as do many other clubs. Players doing well in a championship/premier league club's U-23s doesn't always mean they'll do well in a lower division. The conference is a tough league - as a lot of the young lads coming down on loan find out quickly.

Given it doesn’t work or produce anything decent then why continue with it?
Far better to loan a Beavon type player.

The loan system has been poor under all recent mahagers, the logic is flawed.

Sorry for digressing from the thread, but today showed a now fit Summerfield has to, just has to, start before Rutherford.
