Irrelevant as he was doing a great job here and I too think he would have got us closer to top spot if not won the league. I might be wrong but I don't recall us getting a hiding in games under him, when we lost it was usually a close game.

Sammy is overrated, employed by his mate Darlo as was Keates and now Yozzer. Throwing out three year contracts to unproven rookies like confetti yet failing to tie up key contracts early (Lainton for one) of our stand out players.

No its a much better choice to gamble our season on appointing a rookie just because he used to play for us.

Whilst I don't think BH has done too bad here the decision to give him the job is a real head scratcher.
