Manager of the Season
 

I did some number-crunching to compare the three managers. Hughes and Ricketts are pretty similar so far. Hughes has a much better win-percentage, but a slightly lower points per game. I then worked out where we would be in the table if we'd achieved that manager's statistics over the entire season.

We all knew it, but it's only that four-game losing streak under Barrow that's cost us a crack at the title, and is likely to give us an away tie in the play-offs.

It was the lack of resilience after key defeats at Salford and Orient.

No, the board fooked up our season, and under the current regime/ownership structure we'll continue as we are, a circus act on the pitch. How much more do we have to take?

Irrelevant! Every team will have had a bad spell that they could pin their failure to gain promotion on, that’s football!

We’ve blown promotion by simply not being good enough. The reasons why are well documented.

I will acknowledge that the barrow appointment and the circus around it has contributed.

Even though l detest Sam the snake l think we would
have got promotion had he not gone .

We’ve won one league in 120 years of trying. This is an absolute dirtbag league to get out of. Do t give up now. We’re improving albeit slower than we’d all (including me) would like.

Other clubs don't seem to have a problem getting out of this league. We are by far the longest serving team here now.

I'm not having this hard league bollocks. It's been there for the taking 2 years running now, yet we've entrusted both run ins to amateurs.
