Re: Managerial Thinking
Lad who scored the winner for them on loan from Salford.
played 11 scored 7 That sort of loan signing would have made a big difference for us but we end up signing players on loan either we don't play or they cant finish. |

Having witnessed Fondop scare defences in the away wins at Maidenhead and Eastleigh. He certainly knows where the net is also. We need something different up top... Beavon is a quality team player (not a goal machine) but can only last 65 mins max. Holroyd is finished, and so lightweight that any strong breeze knocks him off the ball. Grant has some quality but only seen in very rare spells. He is also so lazy at times. Oswell huffs and puffs but looks out of his depth at this level sadly. McGlashan is an OK impact sub and has pace but little more. Rutherford is better in the hole behind the front 3. Stockton has vanished and probably for the best. Spyrou hasn’t been given a fair crack in my opinion. I can’t think of any other attacking options.

Move Roberts into central defence alongside Kennedy flanked by Jennings and Carrington. Push Pearson up front down the middle - I would just love to see it - only player to attack the ball in the opposition box- a big threat in the air and caused mayhem to create our goal v Sutton United - seems to have some real desire to put the ball in the net others don't seem to have. Stranger things have happened - remember Creighton being pushed up front v Luton in the play off semi second leg - almost saved us. One thing is for sure - we aren't good enough, we don't score enough goals and BH either changes personnel, formation or both. |

I was there I never noticed him gobbing off and to be honest he was no more shit than the other forwards at least he shoots even if he couldn't hit a barn door and his crosses were woeful, but I also think the awful pitch played a part. Posted via mobile theme |

Re: Managerial Thinking
El Jonez, rating each player is kind of pointless for me as I wouldn’t keep anyone of the lot.
All loan players back, dont renew any contracts, off-load Fondop and it leaves Oswell to sort out. Can loan him to BSN. Concentrate on 2 CMs, 2 CFs as priority now and just fill in around them. |
