Difficult to see us winning an away leg, but I really would prefer Salford rather than Solihull. Think we'd have a good chance there.

At present, we blow luke warm or cold. Today, we couldn’t compete with a team finishing just above the verge of relegation. Anyone who truly feels that we can win three games in the play offs is letting their heart rule their heads. It’s not disloyal to predict, based on our form for the season. We might have improved from season, but we have a lot to do to mount a serious promotion challenge.

Based on what? Our performance away on NYD?
Any away game at Llandudno would be a struggle.

Too many passengers in this squad to do anything against the top sides. What this group of players have achieved this season is remarkable but I'm just not feeling it.

We have the most clean sheets in this league and yet our goal difference is +18, can we finally put to bed the "Goalscorers win matches but Defences win titles" b*****ks.

The recruitment policy has to be thrown out of the window and FFS, if a potential loanee does not walk straight into the starting 11, then look at someone else.

Salford's inconsistency, especially at home. I sense their players are under pressure.

Since they beat us on NYD, Salford have dropped as many points at home as we have at the Racecourse all season.

Some people claim the play offs are a lottery - I don't.
More often than not they do run true to league positions - I watched Solihull v Orient on BT yesterday - Solihull look far better than us.
First we have to get through a semi final then probably beat Salford City, Solihull or Fylde away from home where we can hardly score a goal and have not taken a point from these rivals during the normal season. Our away form, for whatever reason is dreadful even with the backing of massive numbers - the inability to score goals will eventually cost us.
Wembley ? I can't see it, don't believe we deserve to go up and not confident at all that if a miracle happened we would prosper in L2 under the current regime.

I agree with you that the play-offs are not a lottery. Never understood that thinking.

One thing that keeps me reasonably optimistic that we may just go up this season is that the rest of the sides in the play-offs are no great shakes either. Otherwise, they'd be streets ahead of us in terms of points. The table shows there's not that much between any of us

Isn't it more that we are.poor away, rather than them being invincible at home?

Our weakness away and their vulnerability at home balances it out a little bit. The point I'm trying to make is that they're far from invincible at home and, should we have to go there, it wouldn't be a certain defeat.
