That’s not true , but you will find a 6:1 ratio of girlies to chaps amongst the 7 strikers that we have on our books at the moment.

Given I wouldn't keep any of them its tough but.. Beavon, Oswell, Holroyd to start and Gashman for Beavon after 65 mins. Pretty standard I know but I wouldn't give Grant another minute.

What is more of a worry is if we dont go up, who can we attract to get us up?

We got to change recruitment policy of getting average players who cant make L2 teams just because they are local-ish (North West) to us. We need some money to get the best we can.

DK showed by recruiting Pearson that players are there. If we change our approach and the manager has a good eye then great, otherwise another year of pain.

Were you there yesterday? Yes Grant wasn't great but apart from Holroyds goal he was the only one prepared to shoot, Granted (pun intended) he needs a trip to Specsavers as he is like the rest unable to get a shot on target, if his shot hadn't just skimmed the bar early in the first half we might be talking about a win.

His crosses were overhit and etc, but imho he put a shift in it didn't work but credit to him for at least shooting no other players do and that's another reason we don't score they want to walk it in.

I didn't go yesterday, but a friend who did said something very similar to this.

No. Don't do away matches anymore. I don't rate Grant at all and his shooting skills do seem on par with the rest. The only saving grace for me at the moment is that BH didn't recruit the squad so hopefully he will have no problems in ditching most come the summer. We need more leaders on the pitch - that's why Solihull have done well. I heard an amusing quote in that one of our fans said he couldn't watch their style of football - as if we were Brazil. just wow.

The team isn't right and needs a revamp but hopefully holding onto Pearson, Lainton, Lawlor, Kennedy, Carra, Manny and that's it.

As I mentioned on another thread, the squad is set up with presumably the higher earners in defence. I can’t see many attackers earning more than Pearson and Manny Smith. Maybe carrington too given his time at the club. I’d imagine Jennings won’t be cheap given his background and achievements at Cheltenham.

What's makes you think Hughes will be any good recruiting players? The ones he's recruited already cannot get in the squad McGlashan apart who should be starting as he actually has pace. I never said I rated Grant but at least he put a shift in and did shoot even if poor so he deserves no more vitriol on here than the rest, for me the worst player on the park was Roberts and Jennings wasn't much better why he dropped Carrington to the bench who imho was mom Friday is beyond me... Hughes is a tinkerman and he has cost us points through it.
