I think its the point. If we didnt have any cup money or Ward money and times had been hard then likely we would be more than happy now. The waste and missed chance plus another let down yesterday fuels the disappointment.

I think this is why people are so pissed off. Not winning the title is one thing, not getting top 3 from where we were is sh1t.

It is obvious to everyone that we failed to get a top rate striker in January.
Mainly because there was no one available or clubs wouldn't sell. So we end up with 3rd string players I'd rather not have bothered to spend on.
Biggest concern for me was Barrow stating that he wasn't looking for midfield players. To a degree I can understand his thinking. Why waste money on players you are not going to use. Hoof it over the top and hope it hits a donkey and goes in.
The football this year has been, overall, depressing and some of the worst I've seen in 60 years. Despite that we have a play off chance.

Yes QR. I would rather have not spent the money. Tollitt was a decent loan and improved us. Pity GB fell out with him and dropped him. Kennedy decent cover but CF wise it was disappointing and I think a lot tried to look on the bright side. Sadly.

You may have an axe to grind but you are posting total Bollocks.
Who was available? Please tell.
The club had targets but no one was selling or loaning the players that were the prime targets. You can't force a club who've got money to burn to sell / loan to a rival.
We could have broken the bank I suppose but with the lack of quality throughout the rest of the side I'm not sure that we'd be in a much different position apart from skint.
The business needs to be done in the Summer. Rickets took a gamble on Fondop and it hasn't paid off. In hindsight it may have been better to pay for Cheeks relocation. Beavon and Summerfield were decent acquisitions, so he got a couple right.

the loan system regarding paying players I presume we pay the majority of the ones we signed, the Norwich guy could be an exeption?. If so we really have wasted a lot of peoples money
