Play Off Game ALL TICKET
As the title says apparently our home play off game will be all ticket. Quite surprised considering the opposition.

Re: Play Off Game ALL TICKET
Any idea when tickets will be on sale?
|
Re: Play Off Game ALL TICKET
Probably so the attendance can be maximised??
|
Re: Play Off Game ALL TICKET
This is the first year I've held a season ticket so apologies for my ignorance, but are season tickets valid for the play off game?

Re: Play Off Game ALL TICKET
I assume that STs will give you first shout for your seat, but you will have to paid full wack for it !

Not surprised really, it’s the it usually the case for play offs/ big cup games? |

But will it be? I can see why it is, no doubt the Safety Committee/NWP have insisted. However for Harrogate/Eastleigh at home the time period to sell tickets for a game next Wed/Thu will be limited. Given the opposition and likely number of away fans I can't see at such short notice we'll get over 7,000 - 7,500 anyhow (in which case that's well within capacity if seating is unreserved). However we may lose sales/on attendance from the walk up fans we would have had on the night who may not bother (or necc know it's all ticket). |

Possibly today , after the game tomorrow |
Re: Play Off Game ALL TICKET
As the team we are playing wont be known until 3pm Saturday. And the play off match is following Wednesday it doesn't leave very long to print tickets and sell them. Will season tickets holders be guaranteed their seats and if so till when before they are sold?.Can understand MRS being all ticket but the whole ground? Seems poorly planned
|
Re: Play Off Game ALL TICKET
Tend to agree Hightown esp given the short notice but suspect NWP/Safety Committee have given us no choice.
|
Re: Play Off Game ALL TICKET
Can't see any indication of this on the club site.
Is this info genuine? Anticipate a low crowd on Saturday for what is basically a dead rubber. Maybe this is a ploy to get more to the match to get play off tickets????? If fans can get to either of the play off dates. |

Not much time to plan. Agreed. Maybe open ended tickets? |

Re: Play Off Game ALL TICKET
Assume all st seats are covered until Monday or Tuesday. Printing out tickets is easy and most will do online and print out
|
Re: Play Off Game ALL TICKET
Every time we’ve been in the playoffs it’s been all ticket, why would it not be?
|
Re: Play Off Game ALL TICKET
Of course its going to be all ticket. No drama.
|
Re: Play Off Game ALL TICKET
Yeah it has to be all ticket really.
Hightown Brymbo Red - KO is 12:30 Saturday. |
Re: Play Off Game ALL TICKET
They could put tickets on sale now really.
If you are free both nights then you could commit now. Posted via mobile theme |

Ah right, my bad mate. |
Re: Play Off Game ALL TICKET
You don't need to know who the opponents are to sell tickets. Just put play off game on them and both dates.

It would be a nice gesture by the club to reward the loyalty of season ticket holders by including playoff games in with the season ticket |

Would be a nice gesture. Yes. It would however cost the club. around £16 - £20k in lost revenue to do that. assuming ST holders were all to turn up. |

Wow.....a nice gesture costing approx (2000 ST holders X average £15 ticket price for P.O. game = £30,000) That's getting on for a players wage for a year mate. |
Re: Play Off Game ALL TICKET
The club have already made a gesture to me. When I obtained my ST, it enabled me to sit in my £20 seat for £13 a game! I am happy with that.

This. Should they if reduced for ST holders also reduce for Trust members, especially those paying over the odds. Then reward those who have attended every game and paid at the gate, who have paid three figures more to the club in the season compared to those having STs. Never ending |
Re: Play Off Game ALL TICKET
If the club are going to do a gesture for ST holders (and I appreciate it's probably unlikely we'll get that far) something like cheap coach travel for season ticket holders to Wembley might be a better idea try and boost the support etc?

Re: Play Off Game ALL TICKET
Not helpful - I've managed to swing a meeting with a prospect for Thursday morning in Warrington so I can make the game whether its played Wednesday or Thursday.
Can I buy tickets online for thuis? never booked a Wrexham ticket online before |
Re: Play Off Game ALL TICKET
Seriously can't see the need to have made this game all ticket.
Opposition being Harrogate or Eastleigh. Together with the early 7.00 pm kick off and extremely short turn around between Saturday and play off match (Wednesday or Thursday) common sense should have prevailed. The big plus is that at least it will alleviate pressure at the turnstiles and speed up stadium ingress - not a real problem making tickets available for sale in advance it's the insistence that everyone has to buy one prior to match day - assuming they cannot go on sale until after Saturday's match - and even then it gives virtually no time for postal applications for out of towners which I'm guessing wont be accepted - the situation is perhaps a direct result of the new play off set up and extending the number of ties to be played in such a short time. The club can't be doing gestures and reduced prices / freebies especially for coach travel - someone has to pay Pat's Coaches so it might as well be all of us as per normal. And a reminder to those who think their season ticket gives them the right to attend every game and sit in the same seat no matter what - it doesn't - your only entitlement is to see 23 league matches - additional cup matches and play off ties are a separate entity and not covered by your ST. |

Rightly so too. Thats why I get a season ticket. Best value to watch the reds and priority for cup games play offs etc |
