I was at that game, 12 years old. Great turnout that night. What we wouldn’t give for just one of those strikers in Watkin and Bennett.

26 years ago ! the invasion of Northampton - like it happened yesterday.

My truly 'massive' red banner Wrexham FC Red Army is hanging on the crush barrier directly behind the goal where we scored.

Pitch invasion at the end seemed like half of North Wales was there.

Kevin Wilkie played for Northampton that night - they needed the points to stay up as much as we wanted them to gain promotion.........then home to Colchester the next Saturday with a 9,000 plus crowd - a 4 - 3 win with a last minute Steve Watkin goal - great days that will live on forever.
