Default Have Fylde been caught out

We have tonight been made aware of a social media post which states that Harrogate Town Supporters who have already purchased a ticket for the play off tie against AFC Fylde will need to purchase a fresh ticket at an increased price.
We understand from that social media post that Fylde supporters will continue to enjoy reduced prices whilst Harrogate Town Supporters will be required to pay higher prices, this is contrary to National League rules.

National League rules are clear that clubs cannot reduce prices for play off matches and this was brought to AFC Fylde’s attention as early as Sunday 28 April 2019.

https://www.harrogatetownafc.com/new...press-release/

Today we have been in constant dialogue with AFC Fylde and The National League to try and resolve matters.

We noted that away tickets were advertised as “Sold Out” this afternoon and we brought this to the attention of AFC Fylde and The National League.

AFC Fylde confirmed they would rectify their press release on their website and all social media platforms.

Please be absolutely assured that Harrogate Town AFC have complied with and abide by National League rules.

Tomorrow we want our travelling support to make BIG noise, BIG support and get behind Town all the way!

Fylde wanted to reduce prices for all fans, Harrogate said no as their 50% of takings would be hit. Back to full prices now

Fylde probably wanted to reduce admission prices, to try to encourage more local fans to attend. With it being such an important game, and live on national T.V., it wouldn't look good, with a poor crowd.

Silly billy Harrogate if that is the issue. A much larger gate split might have given them more income. Seems the Fylde guy is one of the few switched on businessman running a club in this division.

Seems like business man who doesn't understand the rules to me. If he'd spoken to Harrogate in the first place he would have avoided a lot of hassle and bad publicity.

1560.

Pathetic really.

No FFP in national league means boy toy clubs prosper.
