Your comment is incomprehensible. |
Re: Beast Budget Building
I always thought Beast was harshly treated by a lot of fans after those comments on twitter a few years ago. Yes he used the phrase "speculate to accumulate" which touched nerves but if you read his messages properly he wasn't advocating spending money we don't have, he was suggesting we should invest a higher percentage of our budget in the man to fire the goals which i think is something most fans actually agree with. Speculate the bulk of your budget to accumulate goals.
Beast had the right idea but used the wrong terminology to support it
Innit Especially when you consider he was probably right |

The Beast moved to Wrexham to be with his missus didn't he? Surely the curry night isn't the big money maker? |

he means that people on here are sniping at the Beast to discredit him, because they see him as some sort of threat. |

Beast had the right idea but used the wrong terminology to support it
I don't tweet so can't comment. I do however remember his article in the DP about how to get promotion from this league. Some mocked that but for me he was on the money. If we don't win our next three games then I'd certainly rather be following his blueprint than that of the FAW. |
Re: Beast Budget Building
Thought he lived in Bala to be with child and misses.

I think this was the offending article. I think the 'speculate to accumulate' comment came from his twitter account. |

Aye, it's basic stuff. Get good defenders, a good midfield and strikers who score. |

Re: Beast Budget Building
I spoke with him this morning and he is setting up an event hosted by Wrexham AFC at no cost. Any referrals he gets from this and others held throughout North Wales (so a continuing fund raiser for us) and the playing budget will receive 5%. Obviously its helping his new job but he doesn't need to give 5% on every deal he gets. Sounds like a no brainer to me so lets wait and see what monies it brings in before we lambaste him.
|
Re: Beast Budget Building
i had the opportunity to speak with him also, he still has an affinity to the club, although its mainly on a personal individual level.
he is also Wrexham based so just wants to help out in any way possible |

What is the business? Has he branched out from tattoos? |
Re: Beast Budget Building

Christ. It’s how business operates. Club stages event for operator, money and exposure for club and operator. So far, so perfectly normal. |

Just to say that Dixie is fine and will be at the game, I was chatting to him in Crafty last night after the Barca game. No idea why the change, glad I never booked the 1864 I would have had to cancel. |

this... but if it benefitsd us in anyway.. and as he says doesnt cost us anything.. its a win win situation surely? as ofc him doing publicity stuff for the club to raise funds.. will re-raise awareness of some fans he was Wrexham.. so his tattoo shop may get more customers etc based on it. so all win win |
