When you look at the plan of the area and size of the student flats , the for sale area could easily accommodate more flats and have a new stand on the kop , this is what someones seen here , i would imagine . Good or bad gonna be a tussle .

Bit of an update here which hopefully sheds further light on the issue.

Might be time for Jimmy to find out who these developers are and explain to them why
this purchase is not worth the hassle.

The nation has only heard of Wrexham because of the football clubs exploits. A bit of payback in helping the club out wouldn’t go a miss. But I wouldnt bet on it.

The land has laid waste for quite some time now...As soon as the WAG make an offer for it, there's someone else interested in it.....

Wouldn't be a ploy by the UNI to get more money from Cardiff would it ??

Surely not....

Could someone play silly buggers and refuse planning permission for whatever these 'developers' have planned? The whole area needs to be regenerated as a whole. Not some random thing/or more fecking flats plonked there.

At least the “private” developers know the commercial value and won’t hang around. That doesn’t necessarily mean they’ll develop immediately.

Who knows how much the welsh govt have offered. Perhaps it’s well below market value. Hopefully things start moving.

Some positive redevelopment could be a shot in the arm for the club.

A new stand will help the promotion push!
We didn’t sell out Thursday.

Bigger priorities than this at the moment.

If GU are looking for just £1 million for the land why can’t the trust buy it? If we have 4000 members it’s just £250 each. Just add £25 per year to the subs and secure a loan on the land.
