Re: Shite
From the lead up to the 2018/19 season, us fans were all worried that we lacked predictable fire power up front. Fondop was “one for the future” and the club told us that we could prosper using other people’s cast offs, via the loan system.
Well, it’s now season end and only the most happiest clapper will say that it was a good season. We have flattered to deceive and played quite a few boring, grinding match to boot. Was’nt last nights result so predictable? I hate play offs. My views are fixed. Are the National League going to extend them next year to include the top 11 clubs? A farce, to extract more money from the fans. If there is a God, Solihull will progress to League 2, as they finished second highest! To conclude - a shit night, but hardly a surprise. If we are not to change the manager, then we must look at the top heavy back room. I do wish half of our playing squad could be appraised by my boss. He would roast them! Taxi for Grant, and perhaps 7/8 others. |

I haven't heard that before - oh yes I have, for the last 10 f*****g dismal years - getting fed up with this crap year on year.

Re: Shite
Enough is enough. We have got to the end of the last 11 seasons bemoaning our situation and being critical of the board, management etc. It's like Groundhog day!
I cannot see anything that indicates that next season will be any different - certainly not the way the club is structured from the top downwards. Given the history of the Hamilton era we are all aware that we, the fans saved our club and the board was entrusted with keeping the club solvent which, all those years ago, was the prime objective. As we enter our 12th year out of the football league I don't think those objectives have changed or been added to. We have the best support ever and we have some funds at our disposal so where is the ambition?

Re: Shite
Chief, you said that for the past 10 years you have heard fans calling for a major rebuild. Is the reason that, after at least 10 years in this League, we pruned too much, or that we didn’t prune enough?
How can any WAFC fan be enthused, at last nights end of season cruncher, to see the likes of Wright and Grant, just going through the motions. Are they not match fit, or just can’t be arsed? If they are sub standard, then they go. |
