Disagree...lack of ability to create and score is the problem not passion

Also disagree. Not about passion, it's about ability to create and score!

We couldn't score to save someones life! For next season we need to get players who can score!!!

There was plenty of passion, but absolutely zero football ability or tactical nous.

Crewered...I must've watched a different game. The players who turned out for us tonight cared and showed passion.

Re: No bottle or passion!

I thought the team give it their all to be fair. I feel cheated by the ref and I dont know how anyone can have a go at anyone of them players tonight. That was their best, and they gave everything they could.

Next season we need to back Hughes and let him build his own team. Pearson, Kennedy, Young and Wright played well tonight. Rutherford also did well when he came on.

We desperately need to bring in some pace and exciting players and some quicker full backs. Jennings could probably do but we need a pacey right back.

We were very unlucky tonight, our goal should have stood, but that's football, and we are Wrexham FC, so I kind of expected them to get the goal and win.

Rutherford played well? Not a chance, I am sick of it now he ran around in circles and gave it away at every opportunity in decent positions he was awful.

Plenty of passion from the players, absolutely zero passion from Hughes. Stood with his hands in his pockets the entire game.

To be fair, him and our tactical guru did do some pointing with 10 minutes to go. Quite what they were pointing at or even why is beyond a simpleton like me but I'm sure it will stack up on pro zone.

Exactly. A team loaded with lack of scorers and creativity. From RB to CF.
Pearson worth his weight in Gold for us.

BH has 1 chance now in the summer and if selecting Grant is anything to go by then we need help.

Iíve been reading all of the comments so far and tend to agree with a few different points;

1. We have plenty of passion but lack quality in the final third
2. We need creative players who are going to create chances
3. We just donít score enough goals and need some nee strikers
3. I donít think we were that bad tonight but it has been a similar affair all season and we just failed to score when we had the opportunity

that's because hes not a manager and never will be. and the board know sweet fa about football so they take guidance from a classroom coach in darlington.

We will have coached any strikers instinct out of him. Its what we do now.

Re: No bottle or passion!

Disagree with OP. They all gave 100% but we lack ability, pace and quality throughout the team.

BH did himself no favours by selecting Roberts ahead of Carrington, and played an unfit Summerfield, who clearly hadnít recovered from his calf injury.

We were unlucky to lose last night, but that does not mask our weaknesses.

I am not convinced we have either the budget or management to compete effectively next season. Will BH have the balls to release most of the squad and the ability to attract better and get them playing successful and entertaining football? I do not know; but I do know my patience is running out with all the faux bollocks emanating from the Board. Have they collectively cocked-up on the footballing side since they took over? or is the task simply beyond us because we lack the resources to fund a team good enough to be promoted?

Again I do not know. But BH and the Board are now under the spotlight and must deliver now, not in another 2 or 3 seasons.:guitarist:

His chance has come and gone. Another poor selection and the usual ineffective subs. We should have grasped the moment.

Why the media talk about Walker, was he fit or not?
Why Roberts before Carra and why oh why Grant.

Absolutely piss poor and someone lacking the mental strength to make big decisions. Usual half arsed tactics first half and then cue the miss and miss team.

Holroyd MoM??? Holroyd was dire.
Was thinking during the second half there are some lads in the squad who are regular scapegoats but none were as absent as he was last night.

We all know you hate Rutherford.

I thought as a team we looked better when he came on. He gave the team a bit of shape and provided a link between midfield and the forwards that had been missing in the first half. His shooting is still dire but he was one of the better performers I thought. Opinions eh.

No idea how Holroyd got Motm. Oswell, Beavon and Grant would have been my starting choice. Carrington should have played instead of Roberts too, he doesn't get forward enough or with any quality.

We were better with Rutherford than with an unfit Summerfield. I like Rutherfordís professionalism but, ultimately, he is not good enough for what we need, albeit he is better than many others.

He runs around a lot and is neat and tidy on the ball. Sadly like many of the other members of the squad he lacks the real quality required to create chances and score goals.

Realistically we need our wide forwards scoring 10+ goals and a central striker scoring 20 to be really challenging the likes of Salford.

The effort was all there to see last night. Sadly the quality in midfield and upfront once again wasnít there....
