Dibble is but I think Lainton isn’t. We only took over his contract to the end of this season.

With all these players under contract we cannot keep any more players or a huge chunk of the budget will be committed before we start.

If you think we need a clear out like I do, and if you think we need to free up as.much budget as possible for star players like I do, then the 6 players we have (I dont think its 7) is obviously a big chunk of the budget committed already.

If you add other players that could easily be kept like Jennings and Summerfield, then we could end up with nearly 10 players under contract. Given that we would have a squad of 21 or whatever, and most of the lads under contract are senior pros, I think we could easily have spent more than half our budget before we sign any new players.
Does that make sense?
