It simply isn’t good enough to just keep regurgitating the same lines of “no one out there”, “Look what happened last time” etc.
I don’t know the answer, but just maybe someone out there does, and we must be prepared to move on. Stagnation equals death in the football world, if you take away ambition, there is no point to football!
I listened to a radio5 interview with the Orient chairman after they won promotion, spoke so much sense and has put it into action, we could do a lot worse than take advice from him!

Very few in my opinion afraid of change. Cautious Yes. with good reason.
There is a mechanism in place to vet and assess any interested party and although it appears long winded, it's not that onerous.

Let’s be honest, a successful businessman or consortium isn’t going to want to work with the Trust. They’ve made their wealth in their particular way so if they’re going to throw a few million of their money in, their ego isn’t going to allow members of the Trust to dictate to them.
