Being a businessman, what would I get for my investment of, let’s say £4 million in Wrexham AFC?
Does it need to be tangible?

Would you buy a lottery ticket with no prizes available?
It’s why I presented my question as a business person. They want a return on investments.

I think his project is more than just the ground and club. It seems to have a commercial focus plus a community input. No doubt the football world will have to wait and see how things work out.

Its interesting that the Fylde mans interest came about from his disillusionment with the owner of Blackpool. Funny of game is this

I'm presuming you mean financial return, those pesky businessman couldn't possibly want an emotional return.

You invest in the potential upside of the club. If you took us to the Championship you could sell us on for a profit on your £4million

Very few of them do it for their love of the club. Jack Walker at Blackburn Rovers springs to mind.

Technically WFC is a "not-for-profit" company set up to break even (or a small loss), therefore we don't have investors (I.E. shareholders looking for a dividend). All the capital raised by WST was/is in the form of donations and membership fees, and is used to fund day-to-day operations. If an individual with honest intent is available then great as long as they can invest more than the current model without going bust and leaving the club without funding. Previously, we had a leasehold arrangement, which Hamilton bought out and set us on the downward spiral which culminated in 'the fans' taking over. There is nothing to stop a chancer coming in and doing a similar stunt other than the vigilance of the trust at the moment. What we need is a football minded Director of Football (paid) to oversee all the football operations top to bottom including managerial appointments and the board to deal with everything else.

The change we need is learning to spend on proper forwards with a record of scoring in this league or higher.. midgets win zero in this league.
