How many pages of fake rumours and bitching can we get to before we actually sign someone this year? I'm predicting at least 150 before Drew Peacock comes on board.

Will be far more than that. We don't sign anyone until later in the transfer window when the better players become available.

Perhaps if I just simulate the close season period we can close this off until something happens.

Or most likely they believe that every team needs a couple of grafting, consistent players that can play in a few roles to cover injuries, suspensions etc.
The problem comes if they are relied on as first team regulars.
However, I would be comfortable if Carrington was first choice RB for next season.
