Yep, one of my local matches. I can understand why you wouldn't want to be in Braintree, but he has plenty of options down south.

Coming from Grimsby the options at our level aren't nearly as plentiful. Likewise Young had zero local options if he wanted to play at our level

Suppose you are right. I wasnt really thinking of it that way, in my head we play (or try to) play with "wingers" in the 3.

Which begs the question, would Oswell go out wide?

This what will happen in the run-up and during next season;

Lainton and Pearson leave
A number of players are released
We leave it until August to find replacements
As we won't spend any money on players, the replacements we find are worse than the ones who have left
We acquire new players who are more attacking
We lose 3/4 of the games in the first two months of the season
BH becomes more defensive in order to stop losing and comes out and states 'the team are taking time to gel'
He reverts to a more defensive team
We continue being boring and failing to score goals to the end of November
BH is sacked
We appoint Fred Jones (manager of Red Wharf Bay Rangers) and pay him 14p per week as we have little money left after paying BH off
We just manage to survive finishing in 14th place

AND ON AND ON AND ON AND ON, YEAR IN, YEAR OUT ad infinitum

Well it won't be Michael Cheek as he's just signed for Bromley according to the BBC

I've heard Matty Kosylo from Halifax Town. Meant to be a tricky winger who Hughes has been looking at since the back end of the season. It's information that's been passed down to me through someone else, so I can't say how reliable it is.

Surely our DoF wouldn't be so loose lipped?

Corey Whitely is the player I’d like from Ebbsfleet.
