Yep well wide of the mark, no one has actually dispelled the myth of a wage cap yet. I can see Pearson being the highest earner, we clearly don’t pay the going rate for proven quality as we can’t attract in the positions that command the most.

The board's stupid non-existant strategy on recruitment and how the money is spent on the squad means the manager can sign as many tom, dick and harry's as they like.

If we want to get quality in then half the 25 to say 13 and thats £1,200 a week for 12 or 13 top quality players and supplement the rest with youth players and good loan players for a total squad size of about 18. It's not rocket science.

I would be interested to see the total number of players that we signed and used last season I reckon it would be over 30.
