As for Beavon, people forget there were games he was played in a two, still didn't work. He isn't good enough, he's too old and is a striker that doesn't score. All these excuses and if's and but's are meaningless, last season speaks volumes, we were in the main toothless and he was a big part of that.
Still wasn’t a passenger which was all that was being said.

Ah, your stock and somewhat lazy response on this issue.

We’re a football club or a few thousands members and most of those aren’t really concerned about strategic issues/decisions. Comparing that to the brexit vote, whilst being a bit flippant, is silly considering 30m voted on that referendum!

You obviously feel you can’t influence change which is fair enough so your only recourse is to hide behind your keyboard and pollute RP to criticise those running the club.

Most acknowledge that mistakes were made in January at a senior/board level at the club. I’m happy to be corrected on this point but the board represents its members so a vote of no confidence (or similar) would need to be achieved to influence change. Are WST members happy with what happened in January and want change?

Fair enough, I agree he was no passenger and his work rate was commendable. He was largely ineffective though and offered no goal threat.

Can someone explain exactly how this vote of no confidence thing works? If just one (and possibly a seconded vote) call for it, does it then have to happen?

Or does it need several votes (a majority vote of members for example) to happen?

I'm only asking as I am sure if it is the former and only takes one or two people standing up then it would be worth joining the WST to action it.

If, however, calling the vote of no confidence then means it has to go through a vote before anything can be done then it is likely to be stalled as I would hazard a guess that the majority of WST memebers are happy with the status quo?

I am only asking as I am pretty clueless on the whole thing!

I too would like confirmation on this point

Surely we will only see signings when players contracts run on and they start to seek the best deal for themselves. One year we signed a guy early (carden?) only for him to welsh on the deal and sign a better deal elsewhere.
We need to be patient as I am sure Yozzer has folks in mind. As for players returning to their former clubs - it rarely proves a success. So let’s move on and think of fitter, faster, physical guys who can compliment Rutherford (as he doesn’t have any of these attributes).

If the likes of McCallum are available we need to be chasing these players. If, as suggested, he ends up at Solihull then to me that suggests 3 things:

1) Solihull have some serious financial backing as he was rumoured to be on decent money at Eastleigh.

2) Solihull are showing serious intent at a title bid.

3) We clearly can't compete (or won't) in the wages department.

The stock lazy argument is to keep telling people to 'go change it then' when you know perfectly well the WST board is a closed book.
As for your other digs. Ignorance springs to mind. I have previously tried to change or get answers. You wouldn't want to know about that though as it doesn't suit your agenda to desperately try and crush any criticism.

What most fans want is for them to one learn from mistakes (no evidence of this) be accountable (no evidence of this) show some humility (no evidence of this) and communicate more and not use 'good news' as currency with fans. Clearly that's too much to ask for, hence the attacks by minions like you.

If you put forward a motion, the WST make it difficult for you if they don't like what you are proposing. So you are up against it from the off. See Haruki's posts on this.
Then they oppose it directly to all members with no right of reply from you so they can influence members completely unchallenged.
Seeing as the numbers who vote are pathetically low (see examples such as bubble vote) and those that do vote are largely in the inner clique who won't hear a word said against anyone then you really are fighting a lost cause. Its all set up in such a way that in reality they can control what changes are made or not by using their positions to influence, unchallenged.
Which is why it really isn't democratic at all.
