We've all seen McNulty for Fleetwood, for Luton and for Tranmere. We know how good he was.

As others have said we have had one of the best defensive records in the league for the past two seasons. Its goals that is our problem.

A centre back isn't needed, especially a pie eating 35 year old.

We need serious investment in the forward positions, mind you we've been saying this for three years now.

A goal scoring CB to get 6 like Pearson would be most welcome.

However if Summers now signs all our additions need to be creative as we have a glut of non scorers still in the squad.

Yesterday we didn't need to sign a player who can play at centre half as well as covering other positions but today it would be a good idea to sign a 5th central defender who might score goals as well? The only thing that changes that is if we are going 3 at the back otherwise having 5 central defenders is mad when we are aiming for a smaller squad.
