I would be fine with Dibble being first choice if Lainton went.

I'd also be fine with Carrington being first choice RB next season. We keep trying to get better and keep failing. I doubt he costs much and can cover LB as a bonus.

We simply cannot afford all our current defensive players if we want better midfielders, wingers and strikers.

Sadly I look to next season with less confidence than at any time since relegation.

We can't have it both ways moaning about the quality of players at Orient, Salford, Solihull and Fylde compared to ours then say the league was poor. It's not RP fact but the general consensus is that the NL is getting stronger, more professional with more and more money sloshing around year on year. No doubt playing budgets will increase again next season and we need to be in a position to increase ours at the very least inline with the other top contenders.

No I agree, but I don’t think the standards been any better or any worse than since our 98 point season.

I don’t think we’ll see a major change in standard next year.

We need players at least 6ft plus tall. Every team that have bossed us around are built like sh...t house brick walls. Small players just get knocked down like skittles.

I'm not sure teh standard was that great then. You had 3 or 4 really good teams and everyone else was poor. THat's not the case any more.
