I just beleive that every resolution will have those in agreement and those against, thats a given, however if you accepted a 51-49 vote everytime then in essence you have half of the members disgruntled which can't be a good place to be.Although I fully appreciate those who will say 'thats democracy' As for the board always knows whats best then my thoughts are that they make decisions they believe are for the best intersts of the club.
What other motive could there be? Why would anyone on the WST knowingly make a call that would harm the club?
Im not saying every decision has, with hindsight, been shown as the best call but that wasnt the question. Anyway, its such an emotive subject there will always be opposite views, I'm just giving mine.

Popular but not necessarily for the best.

At the moment, though, you could have 65% of people disgruntled if they voted for something which didn’t go through due to needing two thirds.

Watched Gary Neville talk about Man Utd on sky sports. He says about Ed Woodward being in control for 6 years and how he should step aside as he's over seen 6 years of failure on the pitch. Some of it rang true for our situation. Yes I realise the two clubs are worlds apart however some of what he said can be applied to us.

Here it is.

Yes he makes good points I'm no fan of Neville but he is passionate about football and does say it as it is.

Their is a connection to what he is saying about failure there to what is failure at our club except for the players not wanting to be here, I think they do but simply a lot are just not good enough defence apart.

It's true about failure of the running of the football side of the club as he says Woodward should stick to the business side and get the best in to run the football side.

And that's what's up here those like Harris is doing a reasonable job on the business side but they are out of their depth on the football side.
