[QUOTE=Wxm boy;2256683]Didn't use the phrase disaster. I said the season was a failure. It was.

Are you arguing it was a success??

Ultimately we did not get promoted so it wasnt a success, but play offs was the target and we got there.

We did get massively unlucky, pretty much all season.

Unlucky? Where were we unlucky most of the season?

Glad it's not just me scratching my head at that.

How many times have I left the racecourse in the last 2 years thinking how the hell did we win that, playing deeper and deeper against poor teams who take apart our midfield of summerfield&wright etc only to come up against our four or should I say 5 defenders who keep them out time after time.

Their was fans moaning about Eastleigh wasting time, it amused me because we're time wasting champions at Wrexham when a goal up.

This! 😂😂

Unlucky! We finished 4th a few points of top, with not a single player on more than 10 goals and had three managers. Pretty sure we used up our jammy rating for the next decade.

The problem with Wrexham is super simple right now. We play Wright instead of a real creative mid field general in the mould of Ferguson/Keates, we don’t have a single prolific striker on the books above National League North level and we have no creative pacey winger. The back 4/keeper is a defensive masterpiece at this level, but with the exception of Salford this season I can’t think of a single game where we consistently won the battle everywhere else on the pitch for 90 minutes. AND WE FINISHED 4th 😂😂!

THe back four a defensive mastermind we have just released 25% of it! And by the way it is a back six as our defensive midfielder might as well be called a defender.Wow we finished 4th every other ex club would call it a poor season but not for wrexham fc!!

Every other ex league club (I assume that’s what you meant) would call 4th a poor season? What, even Aldershot?

You got me Jaded to many beers last night.I was trying to say most ex clubs who had got relegated would not be happy with 4th.I think since we have been relegated 15 ex league clubs have bounced back
