It was reported the contract was offered in December along with all the others but details not communicated to the fans.
I.e. Barrow only known after SR went, Pearsons kept until after the Barrow fiasco, Mannys kept until Brexit sorted

am i right in thinking Tharme can cover LB as well? i guess that Kennedy and Tharme will both resign as Kennedy will essentially be first CB cover as well as potential RB

I was of the opinion that it should have been Kennedy or Manny, the 5 centre half situation combined with what Crewered has said makes it seem likely that one of Pearson, Lawlor or Smith is off, or in Smith's case, finished.

Devils advocate, what if Pearson is on say £1500+ a week and we can get £100k+ for him and Hughes thinks that is worth doing to get that star striker, especially as we have another 3 established centre half's at the club....not a risk worth taking for me personally.

I would say its not as he is a key player. we need to get the key players in place and build the squad with whats left rather than fill one key player hole by creating another

If we sign another RB, then Carrington covers both full backs.

Agree with most of the list, except Rutherford and Grant. They should buy lottery tickets as they are so lucky! I wouldn’t pay either of them in washers.

Rutherford must have turned down many many offers from other teams to stay here don't you know.
Did you know that; He works hard, makes a great squad filler, only gets paid peanuts, buttons (no one actually knows this but it still gets pedalled as gospel) so why on earth wouldn't you keep him?
