Overall no surprise but not much room for new signings with about 5 spaces and a couple of loans. BH has his work cut out now to recruit.

Finished a few points off top - so there isn't a need for 10 new signings as the squad have proven over 46 games that they aren't far away.

It's a really good base to have with hopefully Lainton, 2 really good CBs, Young/Summers in the middle and then the obvious major area for improvement is the striker/winger area.

Pearson isn’t going anywhere. Bobby Grant better be put on the transfer list along with Fondop. Apart from Rutherford who I thought should have been moved on I’m happy with the rest.

Really pleased for Rutherford and Carrington.

I just wish the board didn’t continue to lie to us. We definitely were not told that Smith had extended his contract and that Grant was here till the end of a season only What an absolute waste of a wage the latter is going to be.

are they just letting Leo down gently by inviting him for preseason training, a nice touch so at least he has something to aim at over the summer and get fit

if Manny signed a new contract it should have been announced, otherwise all sorts of allegations start about secrecy

Bobby Grant needs to be played in his correct position wherever that may be and he needs to start performing, otherwise a costly mistake paying a fee and league one wages

Deverdics will come back to haunt us, Holroyd will get 15 to 20 goals if he plays up front in a decent side in this division

I wouldn't bother with any of the loan players returning permanent, maybe Ben Tollitt but he tended to fade away during games

we need a hard man midfielder, and 2 quality strikers, we have to stop signing players with poor scoring records or nothing will improve

first season we will have a settled squad and not have to start all over again, this should pay dividends
