I don’t know - I’m not on the board. I’m assuming at the time they felt under pressure because the season could easily have been de-railed by it all, they thihhht they were going to get Lawrence, only they know - but it wasn’t handled well and I said so.

I’ve not blamed fans anywhere. I wasn’t supportive of appointing Hughes.

My colleagues in sport cover the club so it’s not something I have a great deal to do with. I’ve only ever had cause to speak to directors on a handful of occasions. Once was John Mills in 2017 about the rumours that takeover and investment bids had been rejected, and he was very honest and open about what bids had been received and why nothing had done to fruition. I’m sure tha piece is still online somewhere.

As I’ve said, if people so animated about the mistakes or incompetence or ‘circus’ this season feel they or someone they know would do better, why notput yourselves forward.

Trust board is elected, if you don't like or want to remove a football board member, don't vote them onto the trust board.
The trust board put the AFC board in place based on ability to do the job required.

The problem is the nature of the electorate. It’s the activists . In politics activists tend to be paranoid, irrational, emotive and extreme , hence you end up with the likes of Corbyn as Labour leader and pretty soon some swivel eyed loon as Tory leader. I think the WST activists are pretty similar; a mix of the irrational, the emotional, the paranoid and the extreme , all hardened by the attritional wars of Toss and Robber and unwilling to move on from the past. And chuck in a few swivel eyed loons too.

Like politics, everyone has a vote. Up to the individual to use the vote and elect their choice.

I'm sure the majority would have understood the bad luck of a player getting injured? If he's just signed a new contract that's just double bad luck for player and club. Makes no sense.

I don't get why this was kept from us and its shows what they are willing to do. That is even more worrying. So what else are they keeping from the "owners"?
