I think he’s improved.... he never was very good though. Welsh Prem or national league north/south is his level.

Only saw him against Harrogate so unfair to judge but he didn't look like he was out of his depth. It was an awful game and had the feel of a pre season friendly so impossible to call at this point.
From what I saw he looks to have some pace and is full of energy, so he could easily run about a lot, that seems to get you contracts and praise here these days.

Na rabbit in headlights syndrome, he's never an attacking midfielder, preferred him deeper out of the way.

Another dreadful player who shouldn't be here.

Akil Wright is a conundrum; one that needs resolving asap.

IMHO, he does not have the necessary awareness to be in the middle of the midfield but he might do a job wide right.

Hopefully the coaches will give him a chance. He has potential but needs to improve pdq.

I don't know where this wide right business comes from. In my expert view he hasn't got the skills to play there.

I think its best if he moves on.

He's about to turn 23 so I wouldn't hold your breath on that improvement

Good to see a couple of youngsters getting a chance - how the club can progress them is the next problem.

You say 23 like that's old. Players don't usually hit their prime until they're 28/29.
Personally think he's better when playing deeper breaking up play, rather than further up the pitch. Think the only reason he's more advanced is because he does get himself into good scoring positions.
