3) Yes. but slowly. I think communication could be improved.
Would much prefer to see general statements released by the board rather than individuals making comments.
The board make collective decisions, No one member should have to stick his / her head above the parapet and take the flack.
Whether the board are perceived to be making the right decisions is another matter, but that would apply even if the board members were changed, or added to.
If there are people who can improve the board why aren't they being identified and/or approached? Why isn't there a mechanism in place where by they can express an interest in joining the board?
I think the current board are big headed enough to believe they are the best option out there and that is why they are not utilising the capacity to co-opt another 2 members. If that is the case then it shows their complete arrogance and how out of touch with reality they are/ That then starts to explain the poor performance we are seeing from them.

and don't quote me, the parachute payment is 800k when you get it . If there is or was someone willing to join the board and with the club at heart it maybe should be an option we should look at . The fans have been incredibly tolerant but l fear another three quarter season and falling away at the end , maybe the straw that breaks the camels back .

There are always people who think they can do better, whether that's as a board member or in the work place.
The board have said that if an area of the club requires additional expertise then they will seek to fill that area with a co opted member.
They are answerable to the Trust board and the membership, the majority of which seem to trust them.
We'll soon see what the membership think at the AGM in 6 weeks time.

Hold on, have you forgotten we're getting £1.5 million in instalments from Liverpool for Danny Ward's transfer to Leicester City ?

Why do we need an investor to put in 300k if that's what promotion costs ?

Surely we spend the windfall we've got in the most effective way which in the last 6 months the board have made a complete cats arse of but that's another story.

We aren't short of cash, we're short of brains to spend it wisely

True and the fact the board are not using the full quota of co opt positions suggests they think they are doing the best possible job and there is no one out there who could help or improve them. Do you not see this as egotistical? Aloof? Out of touch?

The same answer to the same question, does it need to be tangible?

Trying to co opt someone just to fill a quota seems silly.
Co opting or consulting people with relevant expertise is good.
Whether the board have consulted "experts" is debatable. Maybe they should just have looked on the poll for prospective managers on here and then blamed RP for any cock ups.
