No it doesn't. You said stagnation. Gary Mills left a dumpster fire of epic proportion for Dean Keates to clean up. The squad had to be rebuilt from top to bottom. I just showed how far the club has progressed on the field in the past two years.

Progress made without the aid of EFL parachute money.

Progress made by spending within our means.

Progress made despite employing four different managers over the past two years.

Are we there yet? No. The foundation is there. Now it's up to Bryan Hughes to find the final pieces of the puzzle to get this club back where it belongs- in the Football League.

As the name suggests I think we can see the view of 1 stat from afar and its progress.

So whilst yes 4th is better than we have done for 6 years its all the other crap thats prevented real progress and a reasonable shot at promotion.

All we can do is hope BH continues progress with better players as its getting tougher.

But he didn’t post jus one stat. There were improvements in 3 key areas; goals, points and league placing.

I’m sure had January/February proceeded better, it could have given us a better chance for promotion but there’s no guarantees.

After all most posters say, in response to the turn around in our financial situation and progress off the field is ; '"they only care about what is happening on the pitch" and there has been real progress over the the last 2 seasons.

We all know you can't have one without the other, but providing the fans of N. Wales continue to back the club, more progress will be achieved.

Seems 1 point to me. League place and points go together although we could improve 1 without the other. Progression to a play off place was the improvement regardless. Pity we then proceeded to make same mistakes in the play off game that dogged us all season.
Progress in real terms was therefore quite limited.

No guarantees with anything but the quality we brought in Jan was quite frankly shocking by anyones standards.

Every January is over-hyped on here, by then the 'die is cast', the season has taken shaped and only very rarely do teams massively improve and generally the leading pack in January are still the leading pack come April. If a team is going well them it is more about bringing in extra resources to maintain that challenge.
