Default Tharme

Doug Tharme has signed a new 1 year deal and I for one am absolutely delighted! He’s just the right type of player we need to keep on our books, young and talented with the opportunity to grow and grow. He’s home grown and has proven that he has a future at our current level and hopefully beyond. Well done Doug and well done the gaffer, COYR!!

I seem to remember he has a decent long throw? Certainly look to utilise that as we seem to struggle and often lose possession from our own throws.

It's damaging to his development that we don't have a reserve team. He played about what 10 matches last season?

Needs to go out on loan to a half decent side really, he actually looks like a good prospect to me.

He should be playing in first team he is good enough, that would save a premium wage of manny or someone else which we can use on getting in quality at the other end of the pitch.

He started 3 games and made 2 sub appearances I guess he will be farmed out somewhere next season to aid his development

Good news.

I know there hasn’t been much choice, but I think he’s the best prospect to come out of the academy for a long time.

Physically up to the league too.

I really like Doug Tharme but I feel he will be left waiting in the wings for another season. The lad needs minutes on the pitch in order to progress and I don't think he will get too many opportunities with us so I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised by this.

I tend to agree. Glad he's signed on, but just the one year?
