Default A fire on Town Hill in 1853 sparked the club

A thread to bump another thread - if you have not delved into the full thread it is well worth a look as there are loads of old pictures and history.

One of the latest posts is well worth a read, it contains details on how a fire on Town Hill sparked the circumstances to how cricket then football was played, and the details of the first team.

Direct link to that post in the thread:

The massive Wrexham AFC history thread (The sad case of a founding members and player of Wrexham...)

But really, check out the rest of it

ive asked for this previously...…..
Yes that thread is marvellous, but should it not have a sub section of its own such as food and drink has in other stuff thread.

All previous history threads could be collected in one section …A lot of other club forums have a specified history section eg chesterfield

He is superb. All the stuff he has come up with would make a fine book.

Good shout - I agree - all club history in one important place would help.
