Any recommendations?
Is it best to stay in Albufuera. Dont know the area or bars.

Take a look at Lagos (pronounced La-gosh) just a few miles up the road....Lots of good hotels and restaurants and an altogether smart little town.

Personally I love it in Vilamoura, down on the marina of an evening is just great.More expensive than albufeira but it's only a few days after all!

Its only 4 nights so just want decent hotel near strip as I cant walk far.
Hotel recommendations appreciated.

The pick up points for the bus was about 100 yards away last year. All the nice bars and restaurants in the marina are close by and all within easy walking distance

Lagos = Remain voters

You takes your pick. I know where I would be even if it was ten times the cost

Stayed here in Albufeira last year. Small block of apartments with own pool, couple of hundred yards from strip but nice and quiet:

Try the Montechoro hotel on the Strip at the top end. Will be in Albufeira for 2 weeks in June . Timed that wrong didn't I ?
