Default The board survive, we have no voice to change them this year

I note that non of the current football club board members are up for re-election to the WST board at the forthcoming elections. This means that despite their shambolic running of the football side of the business over the last 12 months, they all survive and we the fans, the owners of the club have no say or ability to change the board.

Surely the system has to change to somehow allow us the ability to directly influence the FC board members?

Just to confirm, we, the fans, don’t own Wrexham AFC. We, the Supporters Trust, do.

Whilst the majority of those members of the Trust are Wrexham fans, it’s misleading to say the fans own the club.

The club disagrees with you.

We Own Our Football Club. This is not a slogan, but an actual fact. So why not join the growing community of fans who can proudly sing 'We Own Our Football Club' and become a member of Wrexham AFC. For as little as £1 per month, you can truly say - YOU OWN YOUR FOOTBALL CLUB.

The Supporters Trust wouldn't exist without us the loyal fans so by definition the fans own Wrexham Football Club.

There is a clear constitutional process in place, follow it to influence change. There is no conspiracy here, if they're not due to stand then they're not! That's just how it works.

It's also debatable that the last 12 months has been shambolic. Made the playoffs for the first time in 6 years, ran the club profitably, appointed managers that teams from 2 leagues above wanted!

But if you’re not a member of the Trust you can’t say you own the club...is my point.
