Agree that it is not acceptable to be basically in June and to not have the functionality to sell ST is really poor. I do disagree with people saying 'why change the ticketing system now', well obviously because from Aug-April the club are selling tickets daily for games, so it is logical to do it ASAP after season finishes. That being said, that doesn't give any excuse to the fact that come June it isn't up and running. Many would have bought STs by now and that would be £ in the bank ready to go.

IT sit on different systems.
Its possible to run 1 to sell match tickets and set up the 2nd for next seasons ST sales.
Simple testing and cut over through the summer then adds in the match day tickets.

Good job we have IT expertise on the club board.

Not saying you are wrong, but do we categorically know that to be the case? I only ask as we changed payroll systems recently and we couldn't run both at the same time, we had to shut one off to run the other (but my IT knowledge is limited). I fully agree that if the capability to run both simultaneously was there then its even more of a fu*k up.

Sounds more complicated than needs be.

Payroll is tax year dependant so both systems cannot run at same time.
However next years is setup whilst this years still runs and the principal is the same.

Its not rocket science its planning.

Yes they could and this was an option . Get everyone to fill a form in Andy either leave cash , cheque or card details and we could input into the new system later . For various reasons we decided not to go down this route and to put back the Season Tickets for a few weeks . They will still be done before the Season starts .People not happy now might also be unhappy that they were leaving details .

Fair enough, just worried this will affect our playing budget and see us miss out on players. Let alone give a good indication to Hughes how big his budget will be.
