PD. Were talking basics, cash the life blood of the club.
How difficult can it be. Who is actually planning anything?

There is negativity but really.

Cash-flow - or lack of it - is what kills off SMEs. Presumably, the Board has enough cash to pay the bills until the problem is addressed; otherwise we are in deep doo-doo!

The WST Board should be asked at the AGM to explain what has gone wrong, and why; but without knowing the details, it is very easy - especially on RP - to put 2+2 together and come up with 666!

From what I gather, Nothing has gone wrong.
Following the end of the season the club are changing / improving their system for ticketing.
Should see some action in the first week in June.

To think we have 12 months to sort this, pre test if necessary (obviously is) and get it rolling early.

Fact.

When we played away at Halifax they were already selling their ST's.

Everyday on Dee 106.3 radio Chester are advertising their's and have been for a number of weeks.

The longer window available to sell them surely means the more chance of increased sales.

But it also spreads the pressure for both fans but importantly the club shop staff.

The early bird opportunity is decreasing by the day.

And normally, each season the new ST's arrive in the post with barely days to spare prior to the first league match.

Sorry to say there are a number of issues that grate me with this club - but this one mirrors the decision making in other matters.

Get ready for the response by some of patience and it doesn't really matter.

Why should we invest in this club, ploughing money every year into buying ST's and WST membership ?

The idea of ST's to me is two fold - firstly to bring money into the club whilst the turnstiles are not clicking balanced against the opportunity for fans to sort their purchases out at a reduced rate by stumping finances up in one payment - neither of which are currently happening.
Well said

Nothing has gone wrong. Prices and everything agreed fir launch a few months back .Cant change upgrade ppthe ticket office system when we are still playing matches. After last match we have trialed a system and trained staff and expect to be ready in two to three weeks. Normal early bird period moving to full price . Our system was old needed upgrading and updating which we are doing. How early you launch Season tickets is not about being organised . Some clubs launch early because they need the cash . Any other questions about Season Tickets then ask awAy Geoff

What dates are you expecting the early bird period to run from and to? How.long will current seats be held for?
